The Glens CA Picnic - September 7, 2019
We would like to thank all of the organizers for this tremendous event. We managed the impossible and the weather was beautiful. It was raining in Grenfell, Tanglewood, Manordale, but Pineglen Park was under the special protection for our picnic. The food was excellent, the service impeccable and there were several different attractions.
We had few former residents who came to celebrate and see their old neighbourhood. Kids loved all of the games, the firetruck and the ice cream truck. The Psychic Tent was attended by at least 30 people with a line up to find answers. The Square Dancing and the band were a hit and their performance was really fantastic.
Special thanks to Jamie for slaving over the BBQ. Dantry for reigning-in the kitchen, Nicole for running the event, Patricia and her family lending hand to all kind of tasks and Brian for being the strong man and helping with the setup.
