Dear Neighbors Who Walk Their Dog Unleashed

The Glens Community Association has received several complaints about dogs being unleashed in our area. As you know, every community has a leash law that requires dogs to be kept on a leash when on public property. This is to protect you, the public and your dog. Good afternoon, Friday is our typical newsletter day and you can expect to receive a newsletter this Friday as per usual, however, I would like to get a note out to residents today as well. Ontario Will Move Into a Lockdown on Boxing Day

All of Ontario will move into a lockdown on Boxing Day in a bid to curb climbing COVID-19 case numbers and spare hospitals and their intensive care units from being inundated in January. In the seven public health units in Ontario's north, where daily case numbers have been significantly lower, the lockdown is set to e

Seasons Greetings from The Glens Community Association

Dear Glens Resident, We are facing an unusual holiday without our extended families, unable to see our friends or interact with the wider world. It may be a lonely and a difficult time for many people. As the pandemic affects the globe, we look for kindness and inspiration while we prioritize health and safety of ourselves, our families, and friends. This spring the pandemic caught most of us unprepared in many ways, but with neighbours helping neighbours, we got through the

In this time of social distancing, what kinds of greetings should we use? What makes one kind of greeting more infectious than another? What actions can we take to feel close, even when we mu

OC Transpo's bus, train and Para Transpo services changes kick in Monday

OC Transpo is reminding transit users of upcoming changes to its services that will start after the weekend.
