Extracurricular Activities During COVID Times

Dear Glens Residents,

In these challenging Covid times we know you are all cooped up at home looking for

something to do. Below you will find some suggestions and information including links

to resources, activities and services available in the community that Glens residents and

in particular our Senior residents may find interesting or helpful.

The Nepean Rideau Osgoode Community Resource Centre (NROCRC)

https://www.nrocrc.org/ provides a variety of services and links to information and

resources available in the community dealing with issues such as Elder Abuse, Crisis

Counselling and Food Support, and provides Virtual Programming for seniors and

others of all ages.

You can register with NROCRC and enjoy their weekly programming.

The Council on Aging of Ottawa (COA) https://coaottawa.ca serves as a leading community voice for Ottawa's seniors in both official languages. The COA has been an active part of the Ottawa community for over 40 years, identifying and addressing issues important to seniors in health, housing, social isolation, transportation, elder abuse, income security, and making Ottawa more age-friendly. The City of Ottawa offers a variety of online programs for residents of all ages including exercise classes, language and music lessons.
