Updated: Jan 25, 2019

The in-fill By-law is very specific in protecting mature neighbourhoods. It prevent garages in front of the home’s facade and offers larger setbacks for lots over 36 metres width. As the planning act cannot regulate certain aspect of development on large lots, it was decided to introduce measures that visually limit the building mass and make the development more compatible with existing houses.
