Unique in all of Canada, these dunes, located just off Slack Road, Nepean contain an ecosystem dating from the last glacial period that ended 15 thousand years ago.
Led by scientists from Biodiversity Conservancy who have worked to restore sections of these dunes to their natural state to support the livelihood of over 200 species of insects, spiders and dune plants.

Time: 3:00 – 4:00pm Tour at Dunes led by the Biodiversity Scientists & volunteers.
Light refreshments will be provided. To be environmentally friendly, please bring your own reusable water bottle for taking to the Dunes site.
